ABOUT

I always tell people I “stumbled” into broadcasting and sports media. I received an email, while at college, asking for anyone that was interested in providing the radio play-by-play for the UW-River Falls women’s basketball games. To this day, I don’t know what possessed me to say I’d do it. That decision became a turning point in my life. I had never aspired or even really entertained the thought of calling games. I quickly realized that the highlight of each week was when I got the chance to put on the headset.

Since that fateful day, I have provided the play-by-play for almost 1,700 games over 16 years.

After honing my craft for five years as the lead basketball broadcaster and two as the lead football broadcaster at my college radio station, I was offered a job in Jamestown, ND. Over the next nine years, I lead one of the largest sports departments in the state and handled the play-by-play for the University of Jamestown and Jamestown High School.

Since leaving North Dakota, I have joined the St. Paul Saints broadcast team and taken over as the Voice of St. Cloud State Basketball. I continue to freelance in the Twin Cities, picking up broadcasts for NSPN.tv, TJ Broadcast Services, Game Time Media, and North Metro TV.

One of my greatest strengths lies in building meaningful connections with coaches, athletes, fans, parents, and fellow media professionals. I possess a unique ability to relate to a wide range of individuals, a skill that has proven invaluable not just in my personal life, but also in broadcasting.

This job has not only provided so many incredible opportunities, but also introduced me to many people that I am lucky to call friends. I mean it when I say, the relationships I've created along the way have been my favorite part.

I have been fortunate to cover many successful teams and along with that comes a lot of big game experience.

The Highlights include:

-2013, 2016, & 2017 North Dakota Volleyball State Championship Matches

-2015 North Dakota Class B Boys Basketball Championship Game
